Engineering and roads overview
The Engineering Section of Ennis Town Council is responsible for the provision of various services and the maintenance and construction of infrastructure which facilitates Ennis town.
The following list are some examples of these:
- Maintenance of the local road network, including footpaths, road markings, signage and public lighting
- Street cleaning and litter bin servicing
- Refuse collection service
- Water treatment facilities and the watermain network
- Wastewater treatment facilities and the sewer networks
- Local Authority housing
- Open spaces and amenity areas
- Christmas lighting
