Guidelines for developing playgrounds
The Community Playground Development Grant Guidelines 2006 - 2009 have been compiled to provide community groups involved in or considering developing a playground.
These guidelines are set out under a number of headings based on a series of frequently asked questions.
It incorporates a checklist of what needs to be done and how to do it, information on sources of funding, how to apply and claim for funding and best practice and standards applicable to the development of playgrounds, and useful contact names and details.
While it is not envisaged that the information contained in this document will change over the lifetime of the scheme it must be noted that some details such as contact names and fees etc may change in that time.
