Applicant Name
This is the full name of the applicant for planning permission. Where a company is making the application, this will be the Company
or Business name.
Decided
This is the date the Council makes its decision on the planning application.
Due
This is the date the decision is due on the planning application.
In the first instance, the decision is due on a planning application 8 weeks after the date the planning application was
received. However, if further information has been requested and received, the decision due date is generally 4 weeks from
the date of receipt of the further information. There are also cases where an extension in the due date may be granted on
request by the applicant - see below.
Extend
This is the date the decision is due on the planning application after the Council has granted an extension in the due
date to the applicant.

Location
This is the location of the proposed development and is usually but not exclusively, the townland name or street name and number.
Received
This is the date the planning application was received by Ennis Town Council.
Status
This is the current status of the application.
Validated
This is the date that Ennis Town Council deemed the planning application to be a valid application.
Planning applications are taken in at the public counter and are not checked for validity at that point. Where a planning
application is deemed invalid or incomplete the application is returned in full to the
applicant along with an explanatory note detailing the reasons for the invalidation. The validation date is usually but
not always the date the application was submitted to the Planning Authority.
