   4. Letter received from Killarney Town Council in relation to a Notice of Motion adopted by that Council regarding the cancellation of the proposed cervical cancer vaccination programme.
   5. Acknowledgement received from the Office of the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government in response to this Council’s letter regarding revenue from car tax.
   6. Acknowledgement received from the Office of the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government in response to this Council’s letter regarding funding for the water treatment plant.

   2. Antrim Tourism Conference being organised by the Clare Tourist Council and Antrim Borough Council and taking place at the Dunadry Hotel, Muckamore, Dunadry, Co. Antrim on 23rd and 24th January 2009.
   3. Freedom of Information Seminar for Councillors being organised by TJK Conferences Ltd. and taking place at the Patrick Punch Hotel, Limerick on 20th and 21st February 2009.
   4. "Effective Communications for Councillors" Training Seminar taking place at the Clonea Strand Hotel, Clonea, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford on 30th January and 1st February 2009.
