  1. Adoption of the Minutes of the September Monthly Meeting of Ennis Town Council held on Monday, 3rd September 2007 at 3:30 p.m. 
  2. To approve agreement pursuant to Section 9 of the Planning and Development Act 2000.
  3. Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (Part VIII) – Proposed revision to layout at Westbourne, Watery Road, Ennis.
  4. To nominate an elected member to the RAPID Area Implementation Team.
  5. To consider further Town Centre Pedestrianisation.

  7. Notice of Motion submitted by Cllr. Johnny Flynn.
    • "Ask the Town Engineer to provide a progress report on the condition of public lighting, service level agreement with the E.S.B. for same and whether he is now happy with the current arrangements to deal with faulty lights."

    • "Ask the Town Manager to provide a report on what have been, and are likely to be the financial impacts on Ennis Town Council Annual Budgets of the interim water treatments plant and how they are/will be funded."

    • Letter received from Office of the Taoiseach in response to the Council’s concerns over Shannon/Heathrow route to Belfast.
    • Letter received from Martin Moroney, Director, Shannon Airport Board to Ennis Town Council regarding the implications for Shannon Airport of Public Service Obligation.
    • Letter received from Noel Dempsey, T.D., Minister of Transport regarding the withdrawal by Aer Lingus of its Shannon to Heathrow Air Service.
    • Letter dated 25th September 2007 received from Veronica Scanlan, Private Secretary to Noel Dempsey, T.D., Minister of Transport regarding the Shannon-Heathrow service.
    • Letter received from Jacqui Deevy, Chairperson of the Clare Ethnic Minority Strategy Steering Group requesting financial  assistance for a local initiative offering support services to Refugees, Asylum Seekers and migrant population living in Co. Clare.

    • Training Seminar for Councillors Health and Safety in Local Government on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th October 2007 at the Carraig Hotel, Main Street, Carrick on Suir, Co. Tipperary.
    • Preliminary Notice, Association of Irish Regions 10th Annual Conference "The Challenge of Climate Change for the Island of Ireland" at the Malton Hotel (Formerly the Great Southern Hotel), Killarney on Friday 19th October 2007.
    • The Annual Dr. Doughlas Hyde Conference hosted by Roscommon County Council will be held in St. Nathy’s College, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon on Friday 26th to Sunday 28th October.
    • A Journey of Remembering, Island of Ireland Peace Park, Pathfinding Conference in Flanders and the Somme on Friday 5th – Monday 8th October 2007, Novotel Centrum, leper, Belgium.
    • Local Authorities Members Association, Annual Winter Conference, Dolmen Hotel, Carlow on 9th and 10th November 2007 hosted by Carlow County Council.
