Temporary closing of roads: Feile na nGael Parade 18th June 2010

Notice is hereby given that a decision has been made by the council to temporarily close the following roads for the period stated.
Roads to be closed
- Francis Street from the Cusack Park entrance to Abbey Street
- The Causeway from the Glór entrance to Francis Street
- Abbey Street from its junction with Francis Street to O'Connell Square
- O'Connell Square
- O'Connell Street from O'Connell Square to its junction with Station Road
- Friar's Walk from the Park Avenue entrance to Station Road and Station Road
Restricted traffic movements will operate during this period on the Quin Road from the Station Road roundabout to Clare Marts. Restricted parking will operate on Francis Street from 1.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m.
Traffic from Lower Abbey Street must turn right onto Abbey Street Car Park and traffic from High Street must turn left onto Bank Place. Traffic exiting the Aldi Supermarket Car Park must turn left onto Francis Street, traffic exiting the Tesco Supermarket Car Park must turn right onto Francis Street, traffic exiting the Dunnes Stores Supermarket Car Park must turn left onto Friar's Walk and traffic exiting the Glór Car Park must turn left onto the Causeway.
Date of closure
- Friday 18th June 2010 from 6.15 p.m. to 11.00 p.m
The purpose of the closure is to facilitate the Feile na nGael Parade.
Pedestrian access will be available and diversions will be in place.
